    A group of UN human rights mandate holders has issued a statement seeking, in the context of the development of a UN Global Compact on migration issues, to "commit to a global compact which reflects their human rights obligations," including by combating "hate speech" against migrants, limiting detention, and recognizing migrants' due process rights.
