The Islamic State ("IS") carried out public decapitations of two civilian women accused of witchcraft, following a week of violence during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan against women, minors, homosexuals, and any civilians considered unacceptable to the totalitarian extremist interpretation of Islam being spread by IS as part of its caliphate.
