U.S. Treasury Sanctions Jihadi Groups Backed by Turkey’s Islamist Regime

According to The Foundation For Defense of Democracies, the U.S. Department of the Treasury imposed sanctions against a Syrian jihadist group linked to Turkey’s Islamist regime, taking action against both the Islamist extremist groups and the NATO member-state’s islamist regime that has created a permissive environment for militant operations that perpetrate human rights violations and war crimes.
