A group of UN human rights mandate holders have called on California Governor Jerry Brown to halt the execution of a man convicted of murder due to what they characterize as reports of a flawed trial that violated the man's right to due process, asserting that carrying out the execution would be a "flagrant contravention of the United States’ national and international obligations."

ICC Prosecutor Considers US "War Crimes" Inquiry

NGOs Criticize "Refusal" to Offer Climate Finance

An overview from Reuters of nongovernmental organizations' statements on the recent Marrakesh climate change conference shows that, while they welcomed efforts to create a "rulebook" for climate action, NGOs determined that "rich" countries' had refused to make sufficient financial contributions to reduce climate change impacts in poor countries.
