OSCE Promotes "Gender Mainstreaming" Policies in Montenegro

At a recent workshop in Podgorica, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) sought input from Montenegrin local and national officials on a draft "analysis on gender mainstreaming at the local level" to further the implementation of the OSCE's Memoranda of Understanding on promotion of gender equality in the country.

US Permits UN Vote on Israeli Settlements

UN Rights Chief Warns Against Israeli Settlement Bill

Referring to Israeli settlements as "the principal cause of a wide range of human rights violations inside the occupied West Bank," UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein has warned that Israeli legislation under consideration in the legislature that would retroactively legalize such settlements is contrary to international law.
