The UN's World Health Organization has launched a patient safety "challenge" in which it will develop global standards seeking to "improve the way medicines are prescribed, distributed and consumed," including through government health regulations, in order to reduce the risk of improper prescription or use of medicines.

UN Agency Assists North Korea with Patent for Banned Chemical

NGOs Criticize EU Progress on UN Climate Deal

A report published by a coalition of nongovernmental organizations examines the political progress of EU member states toward implementing the UN climate change deal agreed in Paris in 2015 and criticizes most of these countries for seeking "loopholes" in the bloc's climate legislation that will allegedly slow efforts toward the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
