UK Struggles to Deport Convicted Criminals Under EU System

The Daily Mail reports that, of the over 4,000 convicted criminals in British prisons from other EU countries, the UK has only been able to deport approximately two prisoners per month to their home states under a transfer agreement with the EU intended to facilitate such prisoner transfers.

EU Body Plans Post-Brexit Referendum Budget Proposal

CoE Body Calls for Information "Firewall" for Migrant Rights

The Council of Europe's European Commission against Racism and Intolerance has called for countries to establish a "firewall" to prevent the reporting of information on migrants from social services agencies, including medical care and education providers as well as social security and labor protection agencies, to immigration authorities.
