EU Accuses Russian Troops of Committing Atrocities in Ukrainian Town Bucha

The European Union accused Russian troops of committing atrocities in the Kyiv region after the mayor of the town of Bucha said 300 residents had been killed during a month-long occupation by Russian forces with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell calling for all cases to be pursued by the International Court of Justice.

The European Commission and the United States have announced that they have agreed in principle on a new Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework addressing the concerns raised by the Court of Justice of the European Union in the Schrems II decision of July 2020 and will strengthen the privacy and civil liberties protections applicable to U.S. signals intelligence activities.
