GRI Issues Progress Report on UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights

By analyzing 23 National Action Plans ("NAPs") produced by governments, the Global Reporting Initiative ("GRI") has reported on the progress countries have made toward meeting their obligations under the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, concluding that governments need to do more to help businesses understand, mitigate, and improve their human rights impacts.

Geneva Launches First Center for Business and Human Rights in Europe

Businesses to Trial AI Ethics Principles

Eight new AI ethics principles will be put to the test in a trial led by some of the biggest business in Australia, NAB, Commonwealth Bank, Telstra, Microsoft and Flamingo AI, with the goal of evaluating whether the principles can “deliver practical benefits and translate into real world solutions.”
