New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli and other shareholders in energy company Exxon Mobil have petitioned the US Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") to force Exxon to permit a vote on a resolution that would require the company to report annually on its response to business risks relating to climate change.

As pressure rises for corporations to scrutinize their supply chains to ensure they comply with the business and human rights ("BHR") agenda, telecommunications company BT has released a "Better Future Supplier Forum’s Sustainability Assessor tool" to help companies compare their supply-chain reviews with "best practices" advanced by BHR activists.
