UNGC Launches Platform to Pressure Business on Oceans

Executive Director of UN Global Compact (UNGC) Lise Kingo recently announced the launch of an Action Platform on Sustainable Ocean Business, a three-year program aimed at pushing businesses to help fulfill the UN Sustainable Development Goals by ensuring their operations do not endanger the health of oceans.

OECD: Hungary Must Embrace Green Energy

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has called for Hungary to “raise its ambitions” on “greening its economy” by ramping up spending on renewable energy projects, installing climate-friendly transportation systems, and forcing companies to make more energy-efficient buildings.
