The Federalist Society Holds Law and Sovereignty Conference in Vienna, Austria

This past weekend, the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies co-hosted the 2010 Law and Sovereignty Conference for law students, young lawyers, and others from ten Central and Eastern European countries. At the Conference, held March 12-14 at Castle Neuwaldegg in Vienna, Austria, instructors led the participants in discussions on issues such as the rule of law, judicial restraint, limited government, separation of powers, and national sovereignty. In most cases, the instructors used a comparative law approach between the U.S. and European experiences on these issues.
