Published by the New South Wales Department of Health and the Centre for Health Equity Training, Research and Evaluation at the University of New South Wales, this Guide to Health Impact Assessments seeks to encourage greater consideration of the impacts that companies have on health by providing a "practical approach" to conducting health impact assessments. The Guide presents a framework for carrying out health impact assessments which consists of six steps: screening; scoping; identification; assessment; decision making & recommendations; and evaluation & follow-up.
