Final Report from the Second Major Economies Meeting on Energy Security and Climate Change
The Second Major Economies Meeting on Energy Security and Climate Change was held in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 30-31 to improve understanding of how to develop a detailed contribution in taking forward the Bali Action Plan under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The participants welcomed the Bali Action Plan to launch a comprehensive process to enable a full, effective and sustained implementation of the UNFCCC to result in a decision in 2009 for long-term cooperative action.
