Creative Capitalism
In this speech delivered to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Bill Gates, Chairman of Microsoft Corporation, challenged business leaders to adopt a “creative capitalism” approach that combines corporate self-interest and desire for recognition with concern for others. Gates challenged businesses to use information and technology to create and market innovative products specifically designed to improve the lives of those individuals living in less-developed countries.
