BLIHR Report 2: Work in Progress
This report describes the collective and sector specific work that each member company of the BLIHR initiated during 2004. It shows that collectively, the companies have engaged with the work of business associations, the United Nations, and civil society in advancing the debate on the adoption of human rights policies and practices by businesses. It also explains how these companies are beginning to find ways of applying human rights policies and practices in their specific sectors and developing some of the tools necessary for a human rights-aware approach to become a more general reality.
